Honda OSM

Lightweight double roadster OSM (Open Study Model) developed by the European branch Honda R & D, based in the German city of Offenbach. He along with the well-known model of the hydrogen FCX Clarity and certified for mass production hybrid sports car CR-Z has
taken a worthy place on the Honda stand at

the British International Motor Show in London. The creators of the conceptual open car headed by Andreas Sittel OSM tried to make an attractive and memorable. Machine line to obtain a flat and dynamic, with a fair amount of aggression - in the style of modern hatchback Civic. The parallels with the series hatchback can be carried out in the interior: two-tier instrument panel with a spectacular illumination, three-

spoke multifunction sports steering wheel, creating a sense of being in the cockpit of a spaceship! Dashboard, door cards and seats trimmed with a special blue leather with a glossy effect and accents of white leather. On top of the center console are compact joystick sequential transmission, the transmission of

which you can also change the buttons on the steering wheel. Technical data are not reported. But since they themselves hondovtsy include OSM classified cars with low emissions to the atmosphere, it can be assumed that under the hood is a hybrid powertrain, similar to CR-Z. Today, the company considers the Honda OSM

solely as a research concept car with no prospects for further production. Nevertheless, given the absolutely "earth" appearance of the car and the relevance of environmental issues, the Japanese may well give the green light to release this roadster, which can change the order of the conveyor outdated model S2000.
