Average fuel consumption is 9.9 liters of new items for a hundred miles, and carbon dioxide emissions of CO2 - 232 g / km. The engine is mounted in conjunction with the 7-speed DCT Drivelogic robotized transmission with two clutches and has three modes of operation: Efficient, Sport and Sport Plus. In addition, the new 2012 BMW M5 sports a tuned sport suspension, which also has three modes, upgraded brakes with six-piston calipers and M-differential, capable of transmitting up to one hundred percent of traction on one of the drive wheels.
